Membership of the Children's University is £2 and provides your child with a Passport to Learning. This can be organised through the School your child attends or by contacting the Colchester Children's University office.
To order directly from the Colchester Children's University office, please complete and return the attached Passport to Learning Order Form.
For children attending schools within the Borough of Colchester there are no costs associated with graduation from the Colchester Children's University.
Home Educated Children
Membership of Colchester Children's University is open to all children aged 7 to 14 years.
It is the responsibility of parents of home educated children to advise the Colchester Children's University office when their child is close to/has reached any of the Children's University Awards thresholds so that an invitation to participate in a Graduation Ceremony can be issued.
Parents of home educated children, who would like their child to participate in a Graduation Ceremony, where they will receive their national Awards Certificate, will be required to pay £15.00 to cover the administration costs, paid to the Colchester Children's University.
If your child does not participate in a Graduation Ceremony, and you would like their national Award Certificate posted to you, of course this can be arranged. There will be a charge of £5.00 to cover the administration and postage costs.
